HOW IT GOT STARTED

My name is Chibuzo Ikonte and I am a second year MBA Candidate at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, majoring in Marketing, & Managing Organizations. This summer, I interned at Nike on their APLA Consumer Strategy team and once I graduate, I will be returning to Nike as a Lead Strategic Planning Manager. (The views on this website represent Chibuzo Ikonte. They do not represent Nike). 
Prior to business school, I worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. I also hold degrees in Economics and Statistics from Northwestern University. 
This website is a way for me to utilize my effective communication and storytelling capabilities along with my strategic framework of thinking and strong analytical background to analyze my favorite topics in basketball.
Growing up, I was a top tier high school basketball player in Southern California, until I collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. My life was spared, and I have utilized experiences overcoming that adversity both in high school and collapsing in college to mold myself into an individual that can stay in tune with my love for the game of basketball.
